Is a Bed and Breakfast Cheaper than a Hotel?

23rd January 2007

Sue asks: Is a Bed and Breakfast Cheaper than a Hotel?

There are hundreds of bed and breakfast places in Hawaii. As for being cheaper it depends on location and the time of year you visit. Average prices for a BnB will cost from about $65 USD up to $200 a night. While hotels range from around $75 and up.

There isn’t much difference in pricing, but the Bnb offers you a feeling of being more ‘at home’, rather then the ‘Vacation Resort’ feeling.
