John asks: Under the New Passport Laws, Do I need a passport to go to Hawaii?

No, Hawaii is the 50th state, you do not need to have a passport to visit Hawaii if you are from the USA.

If you are visiting from outside the United States or you have travel plans to another country after Hawaii, then you would need a passport.
