What one word do you (or anyone else) use the most in Hawaii? Like
Mahala…..or?
I believe the most common Hawaiian word in use is probably “Aloha”.
Although among the teenage boys it could be “brah”.

Mahalo!
When we were vacationing, the most common word used was “mahalo.” That could probably be because most of the time we were being “serviced.” For example, when we checked into the hotel, the clerk would say “mahalo, for choosing our hotel..” When we would buy things at the store, the cashier would end the transaction with, “mahalo.” And so forth.
However, if being greeted by these workers, you will hear the word “aloha,” especially if they think you may be a tourist.
If you’re looking for a sentence, pidgin (broken english) would be prevalent among the locals.
