I’m pretty certain that shot wasn’t in Hawaii. It looks to me like it is The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. I went through that a couple of times, it is awesome.

IMDB lists about 18 different shot locations for that movie and only a few of them are in Hawaii.
